Join the next leap in humanity’s command of matter. Do work with civilizational consequence.

We are bringing serious physical AI manufacturing to the world today: we’re designing micro-machines and the intelligent machines that build them.

Being an Atomizer

Nobody has closed the loop between AI and manufacturing before.

No single discipline knows how. On a given day a technician, a software engineer, an electrochemist, an AI researcher and a manufacturing engineer are at the same bench, working the same problem. You will learn things here your field doesn’t teach.

There is no precedent for a Matter Compiler.

So we don’t reason from how things are usually done. We reason from physics: what a material can do, what an interface can survive, what a control loop can hold. “That’s how the industry does it” is a data point, never an answer. Some of our best results came from questioning things everyone else had stopped questioning, like the presumed mutual exclusivity of high-mix and high-volume.

Your work goes into the machine.

We organize intentionally so there is no distance between what you build and what exists. The tolerance you tightened is in this week’s parts. The controller you rewrote is running on the floor. The device you designed is in a customer’s hands.

Short learning loops are how we go fast.

So we invest in the tools that shorten them. An in-house machine shop that turns a sketch into a part the same day. A devices lab with SEM, CT, CMMs, optical and acoustic microscopy and high-speed cameras, so you can see what actually happened. Modeling and simulation to find the answer before the experiment. A bench full of fabrication tools. If a tool would compress the loop, we buy it or build it.

The Matter Compiler is how we build devices, and it’s also how we iterate on them.

A design change goes from file to finished micro-machine in the same shift, and the measurement that follows feeds the next revision. There are no mask sets to wait on, no tooling to re-cut, no quarter-long cycles. The device you’re working on is as new as this morning’s idea.
